The path that brought Trever to Kernutt Stokes in 2011 included many diverse experiences along the way. He was a home builder, a cheesemaker, and a land surveyor before becoming a CPA, and has travelled to more than 30 countries, many of which came on a year-long backpacking trip. As a partner with Kernutt Stokes, Trever finds working with a variety of businesses keeps things interesting and constantly allows him to pull on his previous life and work experience in unique ways.

Trever’s perspective is that he is a creative accountant…in a good way. He approaches problems clients face with a “we can figure it out” mindset. Trever is confident that Kernutt Stokes has the right people to come up with solutions, no matter the circumstance. Trever is very active within the firm, leading Kernutt Stokes’ Internal Audit team, as well as the Culture Committee and Social Committee.

Trever and his wife Anna, along with their two boys Daylon and Fletcher, live in Bend. They love living in Oregon and try to take advantage of everything the state has to offer. They are very active with activities like fishing, crabbing, clamming, kayaking/paddle boarding, going to the beach, hiking, camping, and skiing. Trever is a self-proclaimed foodie that loves good food, craft beer, wine, etc. and says that his favorite thing to eat is something he’s never tried before.
