Warren W. Barnes, CPA

Warren grew up in Provo, Utah, and graduated from Brigham Young University. After starting his career with a Big Four firm in Washington, D.C., Warren joined Kernutt Stokes in 1992 because the firm gave him greater opportunity to work directly with business owners and their businesses.

Warren has always lived by the philosophy that you should serve others as you would like to be served, which has resulted in his clients benefiting from his personal dedication. Warren is heavily involved in the firm’s recruiting efforts, and his professional and personal experience provide tremendous value to the staff and recruits. He also serves as Kernutt Stokes’ unofficial firm historian, and is a former managing partner of the firm.

Warren and his wife Kathy live in Eugene and have four adult children. He enjoys volunteering within the community, participating in church leadership, swimming, and traveling.
