Christina grew up in Portland and moved to Eugene to run for the University of Oregon track and field and cross country teams. After graduation, Christina moved to the Bay Area where she worked for a venture capital firm and later went to work for a Big Four firm. After returning to Eugene in 2008, Christina started with Kernutt Stokes as an audit and assurance senior associate before exiting public accounting to devote more time to her growing family. She returned to Kernutt Stokes in 2021 as director of talent acquisition.
Christina leads the firm’s recruiting initiatives and programs. She has a genuine interest in the future success of accounting students and truly enjoys developing relationships with university faculty, staff, and students. As a CPA who has worked both at the Big Four and local-firm level, she understands and believes in what Kernutt Stokes has to offer: the unique opportunity for a thriving, long-term career in public accounting. She also loves promoting the global message that a career in accounting makes a lasting positive impact on the clients and communities served, is intellectually engaging, financially rewarding, social, and FUN!
Christina and her husband Bill live in Eugene with their three young children. In her spare time, Christina enjoys running, coaching her children’s athletic teams, and volunteering in the classroom. Christina and her family are avid skiers and white-water rafters, taking full advantage of all that Oregon has to offer the outdoor enthusiast.
