Mackenzie R. Blackburn, CPA

Mackenzie joined Kernutt Stokes in 2020 after graduating from Oregon State University. She chose a career in accounting because she likes work that requires problem solving, attention to detail, and continual learning.

In her role as a manager, Mackenzie works on a variety of tax matters, including complex returns involving consolidations and multi-state issues. She appreciates the variety that comes with working with different clients and tax situations, which keeps her work interesting and gives her ongoing opportunities to learn and grow.

A Pleasant Hill native, Mackenzie continues to live in the community where she grew up. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time outdoors with her Chesapeake Bay Retriever, especially when visiting lakes, rivers, and creeks where they can swim, paddle board, or simply splash around. She is an avid reader, a self-described “lousy” crocheter, and someone who’s always ready to take on a new DIY project, big or small.
