"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined."
- Henry David Thoreau

After exploring several academic paths in college, Liz took the advice of her grandmother (a seasoned CPA herself) and signed up for an accounting class. That simple suggestion turned into a meaningful and rewarding career. She joined Kernutt Stokes in 2019 following an internship in Boise, Idaho, and in 2022, relocated to Las Vegas, where she works remotely while staying closely connected with her Oregon-based colleagues.

Liz enjoys the collaborative nature of public accounting and the relationships she builds with clients and colleagues alike. Always up for a challenge, she thrives on the continual learning that comes with serving a variety of industries, including manufacturing, beverage, and insurance.

Outside of work, Liz and her husband Chris live in Las Vegas. She enjoys wine tasting, traveling, and soaking up the Nevada sunshine with her husband and their Airedale Terrier.
