Lita J. Mylenek, CPA

While attending the University of Oregon, Lita worked as both a summer and winter intern for Kernutt Stokes. Following her graduation, she joined the firm full-time in 2019. She got into accounting because she loves problem solving and helping clients with challenging and complex issues.

For Lita, every client and every tax return she works on presents something different, which keeps her work and career interesting. She works with a variety of clients in different industries and due to the constantly changing tax environment, she finds there are constant opportunities to learn more, and no room for boredom.

A native Oregonian, Lita lives in Springfield with her husband Jake, along with their young son and two cats. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, wine tasting, traveling, kayaking, and hiking.
