Elisabeth A. Green, CPA

The career path for Elisabeth has been anything but linear, beginning with operating a nuclear reactor and ultimately leading her to tax and accounting once she found where her interests and strengths aligned. With a strong analytical background shaped by her early training in physics and nearly a decade of public accounting experience, Elisabeth joined Kernutt Stokes in 2026.

Elisabeth is drawn to complex accounting challenges and enjoys working through problems that require careful thought and precision. She credits her physics background for her structured approach to problem‑solving and her appreciation for details that matter. She also values the collaborative side of public accounting and especially enjoys mentoring and training newer professionals as they grow in their careers.

Elisabeth lives in Central Oregon with her husband and three children, with a fourth on the way. Outside of work, her time is largely spent with her family, and she considers time with her kids her favorite part of life. In her free time, she can often be found gardening, reading, or writing.
