Brian T. Florey, CPA

After graduating from the University of Oregon with honors, Brian began his public accounting career in the Bay Area. He later worked in Silicon Valley, where he gained broad tax experience serving high-net-worth individuals, venture capital groups, investment partnerships, closely held entities, and private foundations. He later returned to Oregon, where he joined Fordham & Co. in 2025 which became part of Kernutt Stokes in 2026.

His experience includes tax preparation and planning, estate and gift planning, complex audits, and tax notice resolution. With a strong background in working with high-net-worth individuals and their related entities, Brian brings a detail-oriented and thoughtful approach to helping clients navigate complex tax matters.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his young daughter, whether he’s taking her to karate practice, teaching her to ride a bike, fishing, or spending time at the beach. When he has time to himself, he enjoys riding his motorcycle on winding roads and backpacking in the Cascade Mountains.
