Andrew D. Ditton, CPA

With a background in economics and early career experience in operations, Andrew found his way to public accounting after realizing it was a better fit for his interests and long‑term goals. After several years with another firm, Andrew joined Kernutt Stokes, where he now works closely with business owners across a wide range of industries.

Andrew is drawn to the problem-solving side of accounting and enjoys the opportunity to work with clients in many different lines of business. He has a particular interest in the tax aspects of complex business transactions and values the chance to dig into financials that tell the story of how a business operates and grows. Andrew is especially fascinated by entrepreneurs and their ideas, paths to success, and decisions they make to build and sustain their businesses. With tax laws and regulations constantly evolving, he appreciates that his work requires continuous learning and adaptability. When working with clients, Andrew takes a holistic approach, always considering how decisions made at the business level will ultimately impact the owner personally.

Andrew and his wife live in Bend and are excited to put down roots in the community for the long term. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys running, watching sports, and exploring Bend’s local craft beer scene. During the summer months, you’ll often find him camping as much as possible and taking advantage of everything Central Oregon has to offer.
