Paula J. Hickey, EA

Paula credits growing up on a farm in Oregon with developing her strong work ethic. She knew she was bound for a career in accounting after taking a high school accounting class and discovering her “fondness for math.” Paula was formerly employed by Spectrum CPA Group, and became a part of the Kernutt Stokes team through the firm’s acquisition of Spectrum in 2018.

Paula enjoys taking various information and organizing it into one neat, tidy product. That product, as you might’ve guessed, is a tax return. She’s always going the extra mile for clients, and looking for opportunities to help them succeed.

Paula currently lives in Bend and has one son. She enjoys the outdoors, including gardening, rock climbing, and hiking. She also likes line dancing and listening to music.
