Born and raised in Eugene, Don graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon. Prior to joining Kernutt Stokes in 2008, Don worked for a Big Four firm and then in the private sector as the tax director for Monaco Coach Corporation.
Don’s work with clients in a broad array of industries makes him a valuable mentor to his Kernutt Stokes colleagues. He continuously strives to understand his clients’ businesses and the goals and expectations of each, so the firm can proactively provide new ideas and solutions for them.
Don and his wife live in Eugene and have two adult daughters and four grandchildren. When he’s not in the office, Don enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and participating in other outdoor activities. Don is the proud owner of one the famous local green and yellow Harley Davidson motorcycles and has been an active volunteer for numerous community organizations.
