"Be undeniably good. No marketing effort or social media buzzword can be a substitute for that."
- Anthony Volodkin

A native of Auburn, Washington, Dean started his career with an international accounting firm. He later joined a Eugene-based firm and transitioned to Kernutt Stokes when the two firms merged. He began his career doing accounting and attestation work, which he still does today.

Throughout his career, Dean picked up substantial pension knowledge, which led him to being the partner-in-charge of retirement plan services for Kernutt Stokes. He has helped many business owners over the years generate significant annual savings and contribute to employee retention. Dean has always been quick to pick up technology, and is involved with accounting software implementation and oversees the firm’s software solutions team.
